Basic Menu FAQ:

What is the difference between Creditable Portion Size and Actual Serving Size?

Creditable Portion Size refers to what menu items are actually creditable towards the menu pattern. The Actual Serving Size is the amount that you actually served of a particular item. When entering Creditable Portion Sizes, make sure you refer to CN labels, Recipes, and/or the Food Buying Guide to ensure that you are entering the creditable portion correctly. Entering incorrect data could yield incorrect daily and or weekly statistics. You can now enter Actual Portion Size in the Actual Portion Size column.
