How to Manually Add Items to Your Local Item Database

Located in your item database is going to be a list of all the items you regularly order and have on your menu. The intention is that you will eventually be able to manage inventory and do procurement tasks from your item database. Items in the item database are either added directly to the local item database via GDSN or Generic Database search or manually entered. For the purposes of Standardized Menu Planning, as many items as possible should be added to the local item database via a GDSN search or a Generic Database search.
